Many Lasting Friendships

After enrolling my daughter in several other dance schools, we chose JTSD and could not be happier.  The Royal Academy of Dance syllabus offers careful stepwise instruction with attention to technical detail as well as the safety and health of the children.  JTSD provides dedicated, reliable instructors as well as an environment that fosters discipline and an appreciation for dance.  Most importantly, my daughter loves coming to the studio and has made many lasting friendships. A letter from a group of parents

We are a group of parents writing this letter anonymously because we want to make sure that you understand that we are not writing this to gain favor for our children.  We are writing this because we want to express our extreme gratitude for the positive influence you and your staff play in the lives of our daughters.

Several of us are newcomers to the studio and we cannot tell you how very glad we are to have found this dance studio.  Many of us are long term parents who have watched our dancers grow and blossom as young women as well as dancers.  The grace and poise, the ability to perform under pressure, the determination and discipline to pursue goals that are not always readily obtainable - these are all lessons that our children have learned from you.  We acknowledge that, at times, your high standards and your high expectations for our children can drive you to impatience and harsh criticism, but we know that you hold our children's best interest at heart.  At this holiday time we hope this letter will express our gratitude to you.

We know that you do not do this alone.  You have a wonderful staff of talented young teachers who are dedicated and loyal to the high standards that ou have set for them.  Each of these young women brings something unique to class and we acknowledge that different children benefit from some teaching styles over others.  We applaud your ability to offer such a wide array of learning environments while maintaining the high standards we have come to expect from your studio.  We are grateful to each and every one of these wonderful teachers: Miss Gretta, Miss Cameron, Miss Laura, Miss Rachel, Miss Anya and Miss Rebecca, thank you all!!
