Preparation for Exams

As we prepare for exams, all dancers are encouraged to check their dancewear and hair supplies.  Leotards and tights should be clean.  Character skirts should be ironed.  Check all skirt hooks and shoe elastics to make sure that they are still firmly attached. While the teaching staff will be on hand to help dancers in the grade levels prepare for exams, including putting dancers’ hair in a nice neat bun, we do ask that students bring their own supplies.  Dancers in vocational level exams are expected to take care of their own hair buns so that the teaching staff can focus on making sure that each dancer is warmed up for exams.

All students should arrive at the studio 40 minutes before the time on their exam card.  As always, we are happy to help with any questions or concerns in the studio office.
